When you decide to retire, you are able to use the money in your account to provide an income in retirement.

Under the Scheme your normal retirement age is 65, unless a different age is specified in your employment contract.

If TSB agrees, you can retire at any time after age 55, or take flexible retirement.

  • Early retirement
    If you wish to consider retiring before your normal retirement age.
  • Flexible retirement
    You can choose to take your pension and continue working for TSB, provided TSB agrees.
  • Normal retirement
    Your normal retirement age is your 65th birthday, unless a different age is shown in your employment contract.
  • Late retirement
    You may choose to retire after your normal retirement age.
  • Ill health
    To be considered for ill-health benefits, eligibility for incapacity will be determined by TSB.
  • Retirement options
    The Scheme gives you flexibility and choice in how you take your retirement benefits.
